What are Mineral Cosmetics made from?Mineral makeup is made from naturally occurring minerals such as titanium dioxide, mica powder, serecite and iron oxides that have been used in cosmetics for thousands of years. Titanium dioxide is naturally anti inflammatory and a natural sunscreen. It is perfect for rosacea or acne prone skin, inflammatory skin conditions, and post-surgical or post- chemical peel skin as the natural minerals can help reduce irritation and redness. Application Instructions for Loose Mineral Foundation
Tap a small amount of powder into the top of the sifter jar and swirl your Kabuki brush into it. Tap the bottom of the handle with the brush head facing upward on a hard surface (eg. bathroom counter). This settles the powder into the brush head. Firmly spread powder on clean, dry skin to evenly blend pigments. For blemishes, a separate conclear is not needed. Use a shader brush to apply small amounts to the problem areas and blend well. For those with dry, flaky skin, Perfect Mineral loose mineral foundation can be blended with a moisturizing cream to create a cream foundation. First moisturize as usual, then tap a small amount of powder into the palm of the hand. Add a drop of moisturizer. Blend the two products together until a smooth, creamy consistency is achieved. Use your fingers or make-up wedge to apply.
